Kate Middleton's sister Pippa Middleton has been involved in a gun fiasco, and now the friend she was with who pointed the weapon has apologized. Her Royal Hotness was photographed in an Audi convertible next to a gun wielding friend named Viscount Arthur de Soltrait.
It seems that the Viscount is sorry for all the calamity he caused with his gun. He said, "Last Saturday I was in a car with Philippa Middleton, and we were being followed by paparazzi... As a joke, my friend brandished a toy pistol in their direction. Obviously Philippa had no idea that he was going to do that and she told him to stop immediately. She did not find it funny. I regret enormously that this incident happened, and especially that Pippa has been subject to the subsequent attention through no fault of her own. I have apologized to her for this."
Do you feel any better knowing that the gun is a toy and that the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge had no idea what was going on during the incident?
While this negative press has obviously been something of a setback for Pippa Middleton, in all, she has handled the press' scrutiny well since she was the bridesmaid seen around the world during Kate Middleton's royal wedding to Prince William. She cannot be perfect, and as far as scandals go, this one ended up being pretty mild. It is not like she was in a car where one of the passengers shot somebody.
