On the last season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, fans saw how Jacqueline Laurita struggled to make peace with her daughter in her Garden State home. The two couldn't agree on anything, as Ashlee was trying to figure out what she wanted to do in life while her mother couldn't accept that Ashlee was sleeping all day and out with friends all night. The two ended up having a big blowout, causing Ashlee to be kicked out. She was asked to stay at a friend's house.
Since the season ended last year, fans have learned that Ashlee did pursue her dreams of living it up in Hollywood. On Twitter, Ashlee has shared that she is living in Los Angeles and that she is actually working. That's more than fans have ever seen on the show. So, how does her mother, Jacqueline Laurita, feel about letting her daughter go during their sour moments? "She's working and she's realizing what it's really like to live on your own," Jacqueline explains of her daughter. "She calls me all the time and asks for advice. The distance has really helped our relationship," she continues.
Well, it seems that the move has actually done some good, since the two are actually talking again. Perhaps 3,000 miles is the solution to make relationships work. Maybe Jacqueline could hope that Teresa would love 3,000 miles away, so they could potentially work things out. But the women have a long way to go, considering Jacqueline and Teresa have resulted to verbal fighting.
Will you tune in for the season premiere tonight?
