I will say this about the Haibun. It is deceptive. It contains prose poetry and haiku. You think it can't be hard to write prose poetry, why that's just like writing prose! No...one of the hallmarks of prose poetry is this from baymoon: Internal rhyme and alliteration and repetition can be used. Some such trait of poetry must be present. Otherwise it is prose, not a prose poem.
And when it comes to haiku, we have these words from Atticus *: The essence of the poem should blossom in the mind of the reader, not on the page.
With those two dictums, let us sally forth!

all of the haibun poetry,
that your prompt will inspire,
in all the poets, I so admire.
Jax, briefly, a haibun is prose poetry and then a haiku. You can write one of each or more. You don't have to have an equal number of each form in the poem. And the prose informs the haiku.
