Glee Star Lea Michele Plans 70th Birthday Party for Barbra Streisand

Glee's Lea Michele is throwing a 70th birthday bash for Barbra Streisand this weekend, and her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith will be in attendance, too. Of course Barbra Streisand won't be there, but that should bother Lea any.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Lea has long been a diehard Barbra Streisand fan. Every year she holds a birthday party for her, but this year is even more special because of the monumental 70th birthday.

So what does one do at a Barbra Streisand birthday party when Barbra Streisand is quite obviously missing?

"Basically, Lea and Cory and her friends will watch their favorite Barbra Streisand movies and Lea will of course sing her songs," a source close to the Glee star says.

Does Lea Michele have any special birthday wishes? She may as well wish them for herself since Babs will be in absentia.

"One of Lea's biggest dreams is to star in a remake of Funny Girl, which was Barbra's first movie role," one of her close friends reveals.

Her second biggest wish would be for Barbra Streisand to guest star on Glee and sing a duet of her hit song Evergreen with Lea.

Can you imagine how fabulous that song would sound with both Barbara Streisand and Lea Michele's voices in unison?

Even if that never happens, Lea will be happy as can be at her birthday party for Barbra. Her boyfriend Cory Monteith will be there, as will some of her very best friends.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Barbra Streisand actually got word of it and crashed Lea's party? Wouldn't that usurp all of her other birthday wishes?
