LMFAO may have found overnight fame with the pop hit "Party Rock" in 2011, but it seems that 2012 has something else in mind for them: a seven million dollar lawsuit with the duo's former management team!
RedFoo, one of the two members of the pop group, was en route backstage at American Idol Thursday when a process server called out to him and served him with papers for the lawsuit. It seems doubtful he's laughing his a-- off now, doesn't it?
Actually, RedFoo did keep in good spirits during the ordeal, even taking a photo with the process server—yet another of LMFAO's fans, it seems!
As for the lawsuit itself, it seems that the duo's former management team feels as though they were left high and dry when the group rose to superstardom seemingly overnight—an accomplishment the management team feels belongs to them.
Whether or not LMFAO will end up paying out the $7 million dollar lawsuit remains to be seen, but at least in the meantime, RedFoo is keeping his chin up!
