Supernatural season 7 will have 23 episodes, and now the official description for episode 22, "There Will Be Blood," airing on May 11, is out, meaning more spoilers about what's coming up as the season nears its end.
SPN Season 7 Episode 22 "There Will Be Blood" Official Description
"In order to defeat Dick Roman (guest star James Patrick Stuart) and the Leviathans, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) must locate three key items. Castiel (Misha Collins) helps with one but for the last objects, the Winchesters must face two of their strongest opponents - an Alpha (guest star Rick Worthy) and Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard). Meanwhile, Bobby (guest star Jim Beaver) tries out a new ghost trick that ends up being very dangerous."
This episode sounds like one to look forward to. There's going to be a lot going on with Mark Sheppard returning as Crowley (who doesn't love seeing him?), Misha Collins still back as Castiel (he's back in episode 21, "Reading Is Fundamental"), Bobby (Jim Beaver) still hanging around (he's going to still be trying to contact Sam and Dean in episode 19, "Of Grave Importance"), and, of course, with Rick Worthy back as the Alpha Vamp (which is bound to be good). The Alpha Vamp was last seen in "Family Matters," taken away by Crowley's demons.
Dean has been obsessed with finding a way to kill Dick since he killed Bobby, and it sounds like they have found a way to do that. What are those three items Sam and Dean will be trying to find in Supernatural season 7 episode 22? At least it sounds like things should be better with Castiel—last he was seen, he shifted Sam's hallucinations to himself since he couldn't fix the wall he tore down—since he's able to help them with one of the items. But why will they have to face the Alpha Vamp and Crowley for the other two? What are those items? How will they help Sam and Dean defeat the Leviathans (and most importantly Dick)? Will they find out about it from Castiel or could it be from Kevin, the prophet being introduced in "Reading Is Fundamental"?
Finally, there's Bobby hanging around. He can't be around forever (unfortunately), can he? But will he at least be able to do something to help out before his end? What exactly is this "new ghost trick" that could be "very dangerous" going to be? How will it impact what happens in the season finale, episode 23, airing May 18?
