Kristen Stewart seems to prefer her role in the film Snow White and the Huntsman over her role as Bella Swan Twilight. Will she offend Twilight fans—a.k.a. Twihards—by expressing her feelings?
According to a report from Hollywood Life, she went so far as to tell an Australian reporter that Snow White was an all around better role.
"It is fairly common to have your story as a woman, even if you're the protagonist, facilitated by all of the male characters," Kristen said during her interview for Film Ink. "It's so rare to have a female lead character being so proactive. She pushes her own story forward, rather then being affected by all of the outside elements. Hopefully we do that, I'm really proud to be a part of something like that. It's always food for women to feel empowered."
Now that doesn't sound completely derogatory. Kristen Stewart is an actor, and she's going to view these roles from an actor's perspective—not that of an avid fan. It certainly doesn't sound like she's in any way negating her time in the Twilight films, playing the role of Bella Swan. It sounds as though she's doing more of an analytical comparison instead.
Do you think you'll enjoy seeing Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman more than in Twilight?
