Mitt Romney will get the Republican nomination. The Arkansas primaries will be held on May 22nd , and I will cast my vote for Ron Paul. I know he will not get the nomination, but I will always vote for the candidate who stands by the Constitution. In the General Election, I will vote for Romney because Obama needs to be voted out.
Romney faces a tough battle. Voters in the Southern states are not enthused about his candidacy. Obama will have no problem winning in the Northeast and in California. As we have seen in the past several elections, the Republican Vice Presidential candidate will be shred to pieces.
In my opinion, Romney should choose either Herman Cain or Rick Santorum. Both these men are popular in the Southern states, and we already know their faults. Any attacks, made by the mainstream media, on their character will be old news. A new face is an easy target, and the slanders will still be fresh in the minds of voters in November.
As we know gas prices are soaring. If they reach $5 a gallon, Obama is big trouble. So in the end it may not matter who Romney chooses as a running-mate. I know Obama continues to blame others, and people may be ready for an adult to enter the Oval Office once again.
