Kandi Burruss Making It Rain In The ATL

While Phaedra Parks is making her living as a lawyer and in the mortuary science field, Kandi Burruss is doing her own thing and she's doing it well. Kandi first became known as a singer from the female group Xscape. She also wrote songs for their three albums. However, according to Kandi they didn't make a lot of money causing her to leave the group. She wanted to make more money, her own money and not have to share it with three other people. Sounds understandable!

When Kandi signed up for RHOA she had two goals in mind, branding her name and making money. She's assisted one of her co-reality stars, Kim Zolciak, on two songs including releasing two albums of her own. Kandi's most recent album "Kandi Koated" was released in 2010. Kandi is a songwriter. She's written number one hits for TLC, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Pink and Destiny's Child. Kandi recently wrote a song for country singer Jo Dee Messina.

Kandi, 35, has made more of a name for herself now than before. She's a successful business woman and bought her a new home to share her glory.

Many people didn't know who she was at first but they do now. Not only does she sing and write songs, she's a radio host of her own internet show called Kandi Koated Nights. She owns a retail store called Tags and she's added Bedroom Kandi, a sex toy line to her list of achievements. Kandi is a mother of one, a daughter named Riley, who also works in Kandi's store. Kandi is the only housewife of Atlanta doing it this big. Phaedra Parks is a lawyer and Nene is a reality star turned actress. Cynthia is a model and owner of her own agency. None of which that can add up to what Kandi is doing. Nene proclaims herself as the baddest housewife of Atlanta but Kandi has stole her crown!
