Lost Girl's Season 1 finale starts in full force with Bo finding out who her mother is: Succubus Saskia aka Eva. Dyson could no longer keep this secret from her. It wasn't his story to tell though, but Trick's. At the Dal, Trick tells his side of the story about Bo's mother. Long time ago, Eva and Trick were of the same Clan. The Blood Sage Trick forced peace but Eva didn't want to accept it and killed the Dark Fae Leader. To keep the peace Trick handed her over to Dark Fae for execution. An execution that never took place, but Eva has hated and plotted against Trick ever since.
Doccubus Agree to Have "The Talk"
While shocked by the news, Bo wants to hear Saskia's side of the story, although Trick advises her to stay away from her mother. But Bo needs answers, whatever the cost. And she will start with Lauren since, as a human, she knows more about the Fae world, and Bo needs to know how to protect herself from another Succubus. The human doctor will help her, although Bo is the only Succubus she studied. On one condition: when the smoke clears, they still need to talk about what happened between them when Lauren broke Bo's heart. Bo agrees to listen to Lauren's motives as the doctor surely made Bo's heart melt when she told her she missed her.

Meanwhile, Hale called Kenzi to meet him under a false pretence. In fact, Dyson was there too and wanted Kenzi to help him, because he loves Bo.
Back home, Bo finds her mommy baking cookies. As Bo tastes one cookie they have a short conversation in which Eva admits she's been watching her for a while now and her first meeting wasn't a coincidence. Bo gets light-headed and passes out in Eva's arms. Also, Kenzi comes home with Dyson hoping they could find Bo there, but they arrived too late. On the other hand, Trick thinks he should alert The Ash.
In the meantime, Bo wakes up surrounded by some shirtless handsome men who are there to wait on her hand and foot. Just like on her mother. Bo finds Eva in the garden and tells her she wants to get to know her. Eva wants to know how much Trick told her and realizes he left out the "best" part: What the Dark King did to her for centuries.
Trick meets with The Ash who appreciates Trick's impeccable timing, i.e. before the Light Elders's meeting. In his attempt to protect Bo all the way, Trick overstepped, which the Light Fae Leader doesn't like. At the end of the day, The Ash said they could handle a Succubus, or maybe even two, if it comes to it.
Back to Eva's, Bo learns how her mother masters her powers. Eva suggests Bo to join her in putting an end to the Fae divide.
Meanwhile, one of Eva's hunks, who's wearing a bomb strapped to him, interrupts the Light Elders' meeting. He blows himself up along with everyone else in the room. Bo realizes how dangerous Eva is. She did want to turn down the Fae establishment, but not by using Eva's means. Bo says she doesn't want to be part of it and wants to leave but is surrounded by Eva's men. She jumps out of the window and runs to Dyson. This time she needs more than healing. She needs to be able to fight Eva when the time would come. She needs Dyson to let her fight her own battle.
Bo and Kenzi go to see Lauren. The compound is a complete chaos as The Ash is lying in a coma. Lauren assumes it's the other Succubus that caused this and that Bo is also afraid of. Bo finally tells Lauren that Succubus is her mother, and she wants one more chance to get through to her. She tells Lauren about an amulet that blocks the Chi. Lauren researched it and gives Bo a key to The Ash's trophy room where the amulet sits inside of an amethyst crystal. Before Bo leaves, Lauren kisses her and demands her to come back safe.
Later, Bo and Kenzi find the amulet but the Succubus can't risk her BFF's life so she handcuffs her while she sucks some of her Chi.
Meanwhile, Dyson wants to get to the Norn but Trick warns him the favours of the ancients' come with a high price. The detective seems to be aware though of what he's doing. At the Norn, Dyson wants to sacrifice his love for Bo in exchange of getting his wolf powers to help her.
How Evil is Eva?
While Bo goes to Eva's, Kenzi manages to free herself with Hale's help and goes to Trick to ask him to change Bo's destiny. He doesn't want to do that as it didn't end well in the past and says she should have faith that it'll work out.
At Eva's, Bo is fighting for her life. Mommy Dearest tries to drain Bo's Chi, but the amulet is working which infuriates her. She then pushes Bo over the edge of the staircase, but Bo is overpowered thanks to Dyson, who was at the Norn, and Trick, who took the chance of writing in his blood again. Eva falls but Bo catches her while Kenzi arrives. Bo doesn't want to let her go, but Eva says that it's alright. By the time they get downstairs, Eva's body gone. Bo is sure her mother is still alive and is happy she got to see her Light side as she sacrificed for her that night.
While Canadian Fae fans will have to deal with Lost Girl withdrawals until fall, when Season 3 premieres on Showcase, Syfy takes no break in continuing Bo's journey with Season 2 for the American viewers. First episode airs Monday, April 16 at 10/9c.
