This is the one that made me giggle and one I am sure my older son will want to try for.
The Klingon Language Institute (For those who don't know Klingons are Star Trek characters with their own language. The language is of course fictional but there are a group of people that actually study it and speak it.) They offer a scholarship to promote the study of language, the essay does not need to be written in Klingon, they do want very creative essays however. For more information go to www.kli.org/scholorships.
