Merging Radicals? Fox-Piven, Danny Glover,...

I keep hoping that the producers of Kiefer Sutherland's new hit series, "Touch", will dump Glover's worthless butt and lousy acting from the show. Maybe this will do it, advocating for a cop-killer!

If you are not familiar with Mumiaâ€™s case, he is the former Black Panther who was convicted of murdering a police office in Philadelphia on December 9, 1981. Although he was given the death penalty, endless appeals have kept Abu-Jamal alive on death row. Last December, a deal was struck to end the appeals process and Mumia Abu-Jamalâ€™s sentence was changed to life without parole.

That sentencing change has not stopped the movement that wants Mumiaâ€™s conviction overturned and they have scheduled an event to continue their protest.

These are the groups and *ahem* "celebtrites" that are part of Obama's fanbase. Do we want four more years of THIS? I sincerely hope not.

One good thing about this is that they won't be holding this rally in the city where I was born and grew up in. These people are the main reason I moved out of Philadelphia years ago.

I am always gratefeul when I know who NOT to patronize in Hollywood. If all of us make that commitment, they will feel it. We make them who they are - and who they are not.

You're right, Fren. I never thought Danny Glover was anything special, and he hasn't really done anything since Mel Gibson stopped doing the Lethal Weapon movies. All I can think of when I see Glover in anything, is the vision of him stumping for a dirtbag who killed a Philly cop in cold blood.

Roryann, yep. Ever since seeing Glover's little rant I cannot stomach the man. Wouldn't watch him in anything if someone paid me to sit through it. I absolutely refuse to lend any part of me to their overly pompous sense of selves.

I wrote a book for fun once based on Star Trek: TNG. And when I found out that Whoopie Goldberg also advocated for this same cop-killer, I wrote her character, Guinan, OUT of the book and replaced it with another character.

Roryann, and we can see how Oprah failed trying to appeal to that crowd, can't we? True Americans need to invoke more of those failures. And Americans need to keep standing in more silent numbers against these people. We don't have to scream and yell and cheat to take our money away from them -- and that's what's it's all really about to them, money.
