The latest Raw SuperShow results started off with the man in charge of both Smackdown and Raw, John Laurinaitis. He arrived to the ring along with his assistant David Otunga. From there, Laurinaitis wanted to introduce "the new face of WWE," aka Brock Lesnar, a man he said would bring legitimacy back to WWE. Lesnar arrived out to speak, after video footage was shown of him hitting the F5 on John Cena to end last week's show. However, there wasn't much of a speech made, as John Cena soon came out to interrupt. Cena got into the ring, smirking, and was heard saying "I forgot to thank you for last week." He then slapped Lesnar in the face, which in turn caused Brock to take Cena down to the mat and start unloading on him. One of the punches actually connected to the point it bloodied up Cena's mouth and lips. Cena was shown on camera, still smiling as the two wrestlers were restrained.
There were several moments when either Cena or Brock broke away from the huge crowds of wrestlers holding them back. The brawl continued for several minutes, until finally Lesnar was pulled out of the ring. These two guys will face off in an Extreme Rules 2012 Pay-Per-View match later this month, but at this point it's unknown if a stipulation will be included. One might venture a guess that they go for "First Blood" match now, but there's so many ways this could go, including a street fight or Falls Count Anywhere.
Which type of match do you think would be best for John Cena and Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules? Will Cena suffer his second straight PPV loss, or be victorious over a returning Lesnar?
