Coca Cola Scholarship
The information on the Coca Cola scholarship has been moved to this location: http://college-planning.knoji.com/scholarship-opportunities-you-can-learn-about-online/. This is a scholarship for high school students with a GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Scholarship For Writing an Essay
If your child can manage to write an excellent essay then they can send it in to Ayn Rand Institute. They can be in middle school, high school and even college. They give out 534 awards per year and those students receive their share of around 85,000 in prize money. For more information go to: http//www.aynrand.org.
The contest is for 11th and 12th graders and submissions must be turned in by April 26, 2012 to have a chance this year. Students are given 3 different subjects to choose from and write their essay about. Contest is open to students world wide. I didn't see anything about any entry fee.
