Robert Pattinson's fans are certainly a creative bunch. The twihards have created a veritable cornucopia of RPattz-themed Easter cards which have just surfaced on a fan site devoted to the Twilight heart-throb. Although the cards range from the creative and cute to the weird and ridiculous, all of them were obviously made with sincerity and love.
Yes, Kristen Stewart's boyfriend must have the most obsessively addicted—er—hopelessly devoted fan base on Earth. Rob's twihards are second only to Justin Bieber's hysterical tweens in their non-stop preoccupation with the unobtainable object of their affection. Or not. The twihards may actually outstrip the beliebers in showing love to their hero. They certainly seem to have a lot more leisure time on their hands, as is evinced by the time and creativity they poured into their Robert Pattinson Easter "fan art."
Some of the Easter cards had less to do with Easter than with their creators' lust/love for Rob. One went the obvious Playgirl magazine route with a pic of a shirtless Rob with great abs reclining against a background of brightly colored flowers. His left hand is behind his head. His other hand, though hidden, is obviously on or near his crotch. He has a come-hither look in his eye. The words "Happy Easter" hide his lower body.
Interestingly, another lustful card includes Kristen Stewart. Rob and KStew are side by side dressed in bunny costumes in a grassy field. Rob is holding an Easter basket. The caption reads, "Rawrrr.. how would you like to see my basket?" Cute. Not very original, but cute.
Switching from the lusty to the silly, one card features Rob in a pink bunny suit on a bright blue background with baby chicks, a lamb, and an Easter basket. His facial expression suggests he'd rather be somewhere else. That makes it funnier actually. Good job.
On another silly yet slightly creepy card, Rob sits on the grass with a giant pink and white Easter Bunny. The EB has its arm around Rob, and they're surrounded by giant pastel Easter eggs and floating bubbles. One of the bubbles sports a different pic of RPattz's face. The weird thing about this card is that Rob's life-size image is pale and dressed in black. In fact, he looks a lot like Edward Cullen. Oops. Run, Easter Bunny! Another slightly creepy card that may or may not have a vampire theme is a simple pic of Rob, clad again in black, looking down at a tiny bunny behind him. Rob seems to be scowling. Yikes.
Moving right along and ending on a jocular note, one card features Rob as the Easter Bunny. Although dressed in black pants and jacket, RPattz sports Playboy bunny ears and carries an Easter basket as he hops through a field of pastel butterflies. That "fan art" bears the title, "Easter Rob."
And that, no doubt, says it all. You can see all the entire Robert Pattinson fan art Easter card collection by clicking here. Enjoy.
And Happy Easter.
