Kate Middleton has been a royal for almost a year now, and every new member of "The Firm"—as the British monarchy is often called—needs a confidant. Someone to lunch with. It seems the Duchess of Cambridge has found that someone in her sister Pippa, reports the Daily Mail. After all, they grew up together.
It appears that Kate often makes the trip into Chelsea, to the Middleto
n flat where Pippa is now living, to have lunch. Wouldn't it be easier for Pippa to pop over to Kensington Palace? Apparently not, and that says something, right there. Pippa's flat, where Kate used to live herself, is probably cozier and a lot more private than Kate Middleton's current abode, even though kitchen service is available. Privacy would make for better girl talk.
And likely the two sisters have a lot to talk about. Weddings—their friends and cousins are always getting married. Guys—Pippa seems to have a new/old thing going with George Percy, and Prince William is back from his training gig. Babies—always on the duchess's agenda, though a married sister with a baby of her own might have better advice to give.
There is no word on what they actually eat for lunch. Are they both on perennial diets, or do they go for easy junk food? Kate Middleton has proven she can cook, so it's likely Pippa can too.
Possibly the two just enjoy getting away someplace quiet, together—which restaurants no longer offer. Imagine lunch with paparazzi cameras aimed your way.
