The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has had tremendous success with the show. Teresa and her family made headlines while they filed for bankruptcy for the huge amount of $11 million and her husband, Joe, has been accused of stealing his brother's identity and forging signatures on a business loan on behalf of his partner. Despite this negative attention, Teresa plays the denial card and focuses on her daughter and her business. What a lady! In fact, he faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted. But Teresa would like be remembered for all of her work, including her family cookbooks and her jewelry line, which is available exclusively through her website. She does this by denying everything, including not talking about things on the reunion show with Andy Cohen, leaving an awkward silence in the air. Even Andy knew she was trying to cover up her troubles, but it just seemed weird.
But she has been struggling with the fact that her family has been torn apart by The Real Housewives of New Jersey and she claims it is the show's fault, not her behavior. However, she is showing her stronger side and claims she would give up the fame and the show to save her family and work things out with her friends. "My friends and family are everything to me, I would give my life for them," she recently told Radar Online.
"Everyone has their ups and downs and nobody is perfect. When friends and family you love are involved, and cameras are rolling, the emotions are heightened. I don't blame the show at all and hope one day we can all get past this," she explains. Teresa claims she doesn't blame the show, but that's contradicting to the statements she made in a previous interview, where she claims the Bravo show was the reason why things were so up-in-the-air with her family. It seems she is confused about what she is actually feeling, but she could be saying whatever is necessary to keeping the door open to make amends with her family. If it isn't the show that's the problem, then maybe it's the fame.
"I would give up anything to get back to where we started. I would give up fame, I would give up my life. I would give up anything for my friends and family," she explains. One has to wonder if Teresa is also ready to give up the show's paycheck, which is paying her bills during this bankruptcy case. Perhaps her husband won't let her quit, since he may be heading the jail. And if he is in jail, who will be paying the bills if Bravo isn't a factor anymore?
