Apparently, Blake Griffin is exactly where he belongs - in Hollywood.
Well, at least according to DeMarcus Cousins. After a 95-83 loss to Griffin's Clippers, Cousins wasn't afraid to call out Griffin after what transpired on the court. Cousins was called for a foul on Griffin in which it clearly looked like Griffin had flopped on the play. According to Iamagm, Cousins didn't like the call at all and made it known to the media.

When asked about Griffin, Cousins said "He's babied... he's the poster child of the league. He sells tickets, but he's babied. Bottom line." When asked whom Griffin was babied by, Cousins responded, "The refs, the league -- period. He gets away with [everything]. He taunts players. Nothing is done. He's babied."
Of course much of what Cousins says is true in a sense. Griffin is the poster child for the NBA after he exploded onto NBA stardom with his high-flying dunks and poster finishes over other NBA players. And Griffin is a huge draw in one of the biggest markets in the NBA in L.A. However, the league didn't agree with Cousin's assessment, and has fined him 25k for his comments.

Blake Griffin is the kind of pro basketball player that we don't need in the NBA.
Doctor J and Air Jordan--who were also into above-the-hoop acrobatics-- had their fundamentals down, to the point where they understood teamwork, more than Griffin might ever figure out.
Even with Chris Paul, the Clippers may not be winners, in the future.
Griffin is not a player, whom you can say, has the championship stamp on his particular style of play.
His flash, his trapeze-artist prowess, belongs with the Globetrotters, not with the NBA.
The NBA wishes to cater to such players--because they put people in the seats at stadiums; and on their couches, at home.
Let him retire from the league and do auto ads, full time.
