Thanks for sharing and submitting to
The Surreal Circus.
my post for today is up :)
I edited my post from yesterday to correct a typo in the tags only, but I expect that means you'll need to re admit it to Mindful Poetry -- if you choose. sorry to make extra work. but in case you wanted to find it again, you'd not have been able to with the run on tag I had...
I entered a form I'd created for a contest at Writers Digest for their poetry columnist. I won and an entire column was devoted to me and my form--anapeat. But to be honest, nothing's come of even that level of exposure.
I'm sure I could and should do more to exploit/take advantage of my 5-minutes of fame, but I haven't done much but add it to my resume, which I rarely use, and add it to my bio.
On the other hand, people I don't know and have no connection to have used the form and posted their poetry. I know this because I've googled anapeat and searched to see where it's used. I always go to the blog or site where it's found and comment on the poem and introduce myself to the author. They are always surprised and pleased, but I find humbling.
You know, kinda awww, shucks.
