Waters was less than content with these statements, as she ranted on against the Republican Partyâ€™s alleged offenses against females.
â€œI think that â€” that statement that he made demonstrates [the GOP's] desperate fear about what is happening with this War on Women that they started. There is a war on women,â€ she proclaimed. â€œThere has been a lot of discussion about the Ryan budget and what they have tried to do to deny contraception to women, but itâ€™s more than that. It goes to many places in this budget. Whether youâ€™re talking about childcare or Head Start or food stamps, you will see that thereâ€™s definitely a War on Women.â€
