Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Romantic, 'Cheap' Picnic Date Video Revealed (Video)

A video of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez having a quiet, intimate, picnic lunch date in L.A.'s Griffith Park has just surfaced. Selena and Biebs look cute and cuddly; the video's commentary is hilarious, and there's even some adorable PDA at the end. But the video also raises a serious and rather disturbing question. What possessed Selena and the Biebs, two of the richest celebrities in the world—of any age—to go on such a cheap date? To the park of all places. Isn't that for poor people?

As you can see on the video below, JB and his lady-love bought Subway sandwiches and ate them sitting on a hill in Griffith Park. Some of the folks at TMZ had trouble wrapping their minds around the fact that Jelena actually had the sort of "cheap date" that poor people have every day. Of course, poor people have no other choices. They're poor. Unlike Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez who can jet to Paris for lunch at Maxim's if they so desire. Does this mean that Jelena is becoming parsimonious in their old age? Regardless of his Staples Center extravaganza last year, has the Biebs become one the world's richest cheapskates? All of which leads to other questions. Did Justin and Selena really use coupons to buy their Subway sandwiches as their "conversation" on the video suggests? And for their next hot date will they really, as JB suggests "go to the library to read the newspapers [because] the library is fun and cheap?"
