My Penguins have a new home.....

Our zoo has a new aquarium that opened today.Â it is so so coolÂ I will for sure go see it this summer.Â

It is the The Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium, which is the largest aquarium in the North America,Â and now they have change the name of our zoo to: Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium.

yet on the new it showed how you walk on waterÂ well sort of,,Â it ripples as you walk over the glass.Â

More then room for all the 3000 different speices to house there.Â and more penquins,,Â this my favorite part of the whole zoo..Â .Â

So glad I have a new home for my friends,,,Â

wow--very cool!....hope to get out that way sometime and check it out!

when we lived in NY, we used to go to the NY aruarium...it is kinda small, and you can get really close to the various animals there.....my favorites were the different kinds of penguins, and the walruses.......there was one walrus that seemed to recognize me....he would come really close, so i could take his picture......i never saw him do that for anyone else.....intersting, huh?

I used to visit the Newport Aquarium in Louisville, KY it had a portion of aquarium you walked over too, I did not like that glass floor! They had really big sharks along with other fishes that you could walk under as there was a glass tunnel through their tank!

Glad your penguins got a nice shiny new home for you to visit!

Aquariums are very cool. We have one in Boston, I have been there at least 6 times... Never gets old =) I love penguins too.. hehe

Cool place, but I think the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta is bigger, since it's billed as the world's largest.

Wow, I just will have to take a trip to Omaha and see this wonder for myself ... LOL, I wish. I'm so happy you are enjoying the new zoo and that the penguins have a nicer home.
