Was Jennifer Lawrence too "curvy" to be cast in "Hunger Games"? Talk about a rumor. At least Jennifer is laughing off the rumors that she was almost passed over for her part because someone thought she was too normal.
"Jennifer told me, 'This is hilarious. First, people say how so many actresses in Hollywood look anorexic, and now they are criticizing me for looking normal,'" says at least one source. And do you know what? Jennifer is exactly right here. For decades Hollywood actresses have been ridiculed into looking way too thin and sickly. So when someone who is thin, but not too thin, gets cast in a movie, suddenly people begin to criticise because she isn't thin enough. How is that fair to Jennifer (or any other Hollywood female for that matter)?
Look it is clear that Jennifer Lawrence exercised her butt off for the role. How else would she A) have that body and B) be able to meet the physical demands of The Hunger Games? Still, she has to answer questions about her weight. Why? Are people jealous that she worked hard? Do they not have enough things to nitpick rather than complain about Lawrence's weight?
