The Path

Dogwoods bearing crosses,

crowns of berries,

red pierced petals;

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lilies bow their heads,

perfume the path.

Wynne, what a wonderful poem. I love the pictures and the story of the cross the dogwood blossoms portry. I miss being in the country where those grow wild and we could gather them for Easter.

Thank you. I have the little dogwood here. I'm glad I took a pic before the flooding rains got its flowers (including my azalea blooms) a few weeks ago! I don't have any lilies but mom does. btw I was born in TX! It's nice to be friends with you!
Pretty. :) Wonderful how God tells of His plan through so many things He's created. Thank you for sharing with Topaz' Poetry and Writing. :)
