A popular teen fan site asked its readers which heart-throb they would marry, dump, or date. The 3 choices were Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner, Miley Cyrus' beau Liam Hemsworth, and Liam's Hunger Games co-star Josh Hutcherson.
The fan site's rating game is simple. Fans are asked to evaluate the 3 heart-throbs in terms of which one they would marry, date, or dump. The results were interesting.
Lautner emerged as the second most marriageable heart-throb. Oddly enough, almost two-thirds as many respondents wanted to dump him rather than get him to the altar. Apparently, young girls either really love TLaut or they really don't. Some respondents couldn't resist dissing him as they voted. "Totally dump Taylor Lautner haha," gloated one. "Dump Taylor Lautner!" scoffed another. "He is soooooo old." Right. For some reason, only 6 respondents wanted to simply date Taylor. A seventh voted to date him but only because she hated him slightly less than she despised Liam Hemsworth whom she would immediately dump. Yikes.
Speaking of Miley Cyrus' beau, Liam had the dubious distinction of being the man only 3 girls dreamed of marrying. Some wanted to date him, but most wanted to kick him to the curb. In fact, more girls wanted to dump Liam Hemsworth than the other 2 heart-throbs combined. Oh well, Liam has said he's in no hurry to get married so it seems like things might work out for him.
Unbelievably, Josh Hutcherson emerged as the man most teen girls wanted to marry. Two thirds as many wanted to date him, and only five said they'd give him the boot. Two respondents were so enamored of Josh that they voted to marry him and didn't even bother to rate Taylor or Liam. Goodness. Maybe Josh Hutcherson really is the next Robert Pattinson.
