An Australian woman by the name of Caroline Koenig confessed to the murder of a man who had been missing for close to a year. She walked into an Adelaide magistrate court to appear in court for the first time since her shocking confession. There aren't many details in this international case, but it's possible that this woman murdered the man out of motives related to their relationship. Was he abusive or was there some other motive behind this senseless killing?
Meanwhile in the United States, a woman of the same last name is on the other side of this scenario. The body of missing 18-year-old barista Samantha Koenig was pulled from a frozen Alaskan lake several days ago. While these cases are totally not connected, it's apparent that these two women are heavy in the media headlines right now from one end of the world to the next for opposite reasons. One is a confessed murderer and the other a victim of a senseless homicide.
