It's possible that the incarcerated father of Josh Powell may know exactly what happened to his son's wife, who vanished in 2009. Susan Cox Powell vanished in December of 2009, leaving behind two small sons who died violently this year by the hands of their own father. Since the deaths of the boys and their father, previously sealed evidence has been released indicating that blood belonging to the woman was found along with other disturbing discoveries. It seems that the death of the missing Utah mom's husband has paved the way for an actual investigation into her disappearance and justice may still rear its head.
Not only do the parents of Susan Cox Powell believe that Josh Powell's father knows what happened, it's been revealed that his behavior mirrors these suspicions. Steve Powell missed work the day after Susan Powell vanished.
It's suspicious that the days he missed also matched up with the days his son had rented a car to drive 800 miles before returning for unknown reasons. Could Steve Powell had helped his son do something with his wife?
The family of Susan Powell believe so, and hopefully investigators are focusing on the elder Powell in hopes of finding out what may have happened to the missing Utah woman.
