Leave it to Rihanna to go head to head with her very own management company over what else? Chris Brown. Of course. Apparently, RiRi's really pushing her boundaries, going against her management firm, Roc Nation, and hanging with Chris anyway. It's one thing to get into a silly "Twitter war" with Chris Brown's girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, just for kicks. It's quite another to deliberately anger those supporting your career by doing it!
The New York Post's Page Six reports that Jay-Z's Roc Nation definitely wants RiRi to break off communication with Chris Brown. So much so, that a source says Roc Nation actually "banned" her from him! Page Six quotes an unnamed source as saying:
Her management banned her from reuniting with Chris, but she said she'll do whatever the hell she wants to... Rihanna is rebelling. She says they have been working her too hard and she wants some time to herself. They fear she'll secretly record an album with Brown, just to defy them.
Wow. Could they be right, though? Given what's going on lately with Rihanna and Chris Brown, yes. Would anyone put it past her to record a whole album with Brown? If she does, it'll be interesting to see how much Roc Nation will put up with before they drop her completely.
