After Ronan Keating and his wife Yvonne announced the end of their marriage at the weekend, Ronan has now admitted that he is finding the split difficult. The couple was married for fourteen years and had three children together. Was the split a shock?
In some respects, fans may be surprised as they seemed one of the most solid relationships in showbiz circles. However, in 2010, there were allegations that Ronan had an alleged affair with backing dancer Francine Cornell. In spite of these allegations, Ronan and his wife seemed to get through this difficult time and gave the impression that they were a solid family unit. Now it would seem that this is not the case.
Ronan has now admitted that he is finding things difficult. This is not surprising as Yvonne has been by his side through all the ups and downs of his career. He said of the spit, "You can only keep on going. You can't hide away, you've got to keep on moving. But it is tough times - and we're trying to get through it as a family and we still love each other."
The Boyzone singer also tweeted, "Sadly our news is true. Thank u all for your support. Yvonne and I still love and care for each other and want to protect our kids. (sic)"
According to the source, "a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper, 'Things are pretty tense but they will remain an integral part of one another's lives.'"
Let's hope that Ronan Keating can move on with his life with dignity for the sake of their children.
