Prom Dress shopping.

Saturday we all climbed into the van except for Dennise so we could go and look for a Prom Dress for Samantha. This was a last minute decision for her to go so it was kind of sprung on us. When we got to the store of choice Samantha was trying to stay cheap and my husband said something he doesn't say very often. He said "don't look at the price tag, pick something you love". Dennis doesn't always get into shopping but he kept pointing out dresses, and making sure she has everything she needs to make her night special.

I have to say it was one of the best shopping experiences we have had in quite a long time as far as clothes shopping goes that is. Samantha started to gather a whole load of dresses, trying them on, and dicarding the ones she didn't like until we got down to the perfect dress. We were able to get her earrings, shoes, and hair pieces all in the same day too.

When all was said and done Samantha was happy, and it really didn't cost all that much either which was really a blessing. Samantha is going to look amazing for Prom this year. I sure hope she appreciates all her father does for her. Of course when Prom comes around I will be posting pictures and of course a blog too, but until then it will be a surprise that everyone will have to wait for.
