Welcome to day two of NaPoWriMo.  Today's challenge: Write a poem inspired by the song that was #1 on the day that you were born.

I like having a twin sister, she did the research for me Katryn's poem.

Because I like a challenge I combined this prompt with the one for mindful poetry.

 

 

Keep on Truckin
An excellent motto in life
Remember to duckin
When someone throws a knife

I checked out my birthday song...not too fond of it.
Your poem is cute. Even though the rhyme wouldn't be perfect, this would also work:

Keep on Truckin
An excellent motto in life
Remember to duck when
Someone throws a knife

I don't know if "Little Willie" is supposed to be included in the form or not.

I didn't really know what to do with my song either. Turning it into a little Willie was fun though. I know I played with the rhyme to make it work.
