Mindful Poetry Contest: April 9, 2012

We will be counting syllables today: 20 of them. Look here for a more details explanation of tetractys (teh-trac-tiss).

Also, please let me know if I have not commented and recommended your poem by 11:30 pm Boston-time. I will *always* recommend every poem for this contest and leave a remark before chosing the Poem-of-the-Day. I search by tag and even then, some tagged poems escape me.

Susan, I've posted one. Hope this time I followed the rules.

A question about Rule 3: Use the letter Z four times. This means two words containig double Z, like "fuzzy" for instance, woud be sufficient.

Yes, single z's or double z's all add up as one count per individual z.

So zazzy racks up 3 of 'em.

I've posted my piece, but just as I did so, realized that I'd not included the form tetractys in my tags. mp2012 and other tags are there though. not wanting to make it harder for you to find --shall I edit tags to add, or would you rather I leave it be?

It's fine if tetractys isn't there. I search by tag mp2012 and then sort by date (there's a function I click to make Gather do that). Then I simply read and consider all the posts submitted since my last prompt, which shows up clearly because I use the Mindful Poetry pink icon.

Sometimes folks post another form late, but I usually can tell the difference between an Little Willy and a pantoum. ;-)

After reading some submissions, I remind you to be certain you go to the link so you can understand what a tetractys is. My Rules for today are misleading.
