Josh Hutcherson seems determined to convince girls that he's even more loveable than his character Peeta in The Hunger Games, and he certainly knows the way to a gal's heart—through sweet treats and shoes.
A girl apparently wouldn't go hungry if she was dating Josh, because he can cook just like the boy with the bread. However, he's capable of showing his love with a lot more than a burnt loaf. Oh No They Didn't! has posted some excerpts of an interview Josh did with InStyle, and he reveals that he can actually bake a mean French apple pie! That's got to be better than an American apple p
ie considering the unsavory things some guys do with those (although Jason Biggs' America Pie character probably wouldn't discriminate against a French pastry).
But being able to bake isn't Josh Hutcherson's only desirable boyfriend trait—he also knows women's shoes! Here's what he said about shoe shopping: "I really love women's shoes—I think they're very sexy. So whenever I go into Bloomingdale's, I head to the women's shoe section and think, Hmm, maybe I'll get my next girlfriend a pair of those." So you hear that, ladies? If you date Josh, he's going to fill your shoe closet with the sexiest Louboutins and Jimmy Choos that money can buy (he's so sweet that he even buys them for his mom). Josh also isn't afraid to be seen buying purses, because he revealed that he bought ex-girlfriend a Louis Vuitton clutch. The actor is obviously a fan of fashion, so perhaps his version of Peeta should have been giving Cinna style tips in The Hunger Games.
Vanessa Hudgens is certainly looking like a fool for letting Josh Hutcherson get away, but the actor revealed that he and his ex are actually still really good friends. Here's what he said about their short fling: "She and I got close during the Journey 2 shoot because we hit it off immediately and, well, those things happen in a beautiful place like Hawaii. I'm a 'You only live once, so enjoy it right here, right now' kind of guy, and she's the same." So it sounds like they found the kind of love that many young people find when they visit exotic locations—sometimes someone will be so in love with a place that they'll throw themselves at the first attractive person they find in an effort to physically express their feelings. Since Josh and Vanessa were working together, it's only natural that they connected with each other.
Their love might not have lasted, but if any starlets read Josh's interview, it seems very unlikely that he'll stay single long. So do you love Josh even more after learning about his ability to bake and to pick out the perfect purse or pair of shoes?
