It hurts my heart that so many want to automatically believe that this young man, who was only walking to the store, deserved to be shot.

God fearing folks have been committing atrocities for hundreds of years from killing the Indians on their own land to lynching woman and children to killing each other over material things. We all should search our hearts, daily, to ensure that we are what God would have us to be. That is if, we are saying that we are of God.

People fail to realize that these words were spoken to believers and not to the world - if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

One day, we are going to stop pointing at the next person, and turn that inward, so, that just maybe we can see God heal this country, who, proudly says, 'In God, We Trust.'

No, I believe in God, and He don't have a problem with people speaking the truth as they see it. That's what He says people ought to do.

Gloria, August Lady, thank you. I do believe that the day of reckoning is closer at hand than many folk. God is about to manifest himself publicly in a manner that will shock many. People who know the word of God would do well to pray with all sincereity. Those who do not know him, would do well to learn of him. The times of injustices that once was shall be no more. Even this coming week will bring about truths that will literally shock the nation. God is God all by himself, He gives his name to no man, and will not continue to sit by why others steal glory and authority that belongs to Him alone.

Rosa, I for one am in total agreement with you.When God speaks it through His Holy word I believe it to be true, then as I see it being confirmed day after day I know a day of reckoning can't be far away. People who doesn't see such horrifying things happening surely have blinders on. Let those who have ears hear and those who have eyes see that wrath is and will continue to be poured out upon this earth unless our nation turns to God for healing.
