Based on many comments I have read in different places, it comes to mind the lyrics from a song I heard many years ago. Ironically, I cannot remember all the lyrics, so I just added a few of my own that I would like to share, not even sure who the artist was. The melody resounds so promenantly with me for some reason.
The windows of the world

trickling down my window pane.

It is my persuasion that everyone has the ability to permit the sun to shine through regardless to how "bleak" the atmosphere may seem...think about it.
