The body of missing 4-year-old Kyler Johnson was discovered by a neighbor after a several hour-long search had been underway for the child. The tragic end of this case has touched the lives of many, and the neighbor who found the child must be completely consumed by guilt and sadness.
The neighbor, who has up to five fenced-in pit bulls, discovered the mangled body of the missing child in his yard. It's apparent that one of his dogs had mauled the child, although none of his dogs have a history of attacking and they were docile when the child's body was removed.
It's unknown how this happened, or how nobody managed to hear a child being mauled by the dogs when it happened, but an autopsy is scheduled to find out more.
This is a tragedy that apparently could've only been prevented by good parenting. The owner of the dogs kept his pets fenced in his yard. How the child disappeared and found himself in the yard of the neighbor's dogs is unknown, but the parents of this child should have been keeping their eyes on him. Yes, this is tragic, but to be sincere no harm should come to these dogs unless it's discovered that this was done by the fault of the owner and it doesn't appear to be so.
Parents, please keep a better eye on your children. They are fragile and they are not well equipped with fending off animals and assailants. They are also usually not trained to handle animals well, which may have resulted in this child's death.

I've had as many as 8 dogs on a property before (but they weren't all mine)
