This week’s writing challenge: write about humility.
*****
How many of you Gatherites
Remember when I was new
Giving unwanted advice
Before I came to know you
I’m humbled and learning humility
How many times have I apologized
How could I atone
Evenings finding myself agonized
By publicly announcing I was wrong
That’s humility
I fight with Gather glitches
Want to leave now and then
I’ve learned patience from the switches
I’m stubborn and am not leaving my friends.
That’s not humility – it’s caring.
Greg’s challenge I am taking
To let you all know how I feel to the core
Your friendship is breathtaking
I thank you all ever so more.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING AT SURREAL CIRCUS!
This was wonderful and it shows your compassion for the members of the gather community as well as the WE group. I am so proud to call you my friend!
Congratulations!
I hope you have an opportunity to check out the other spotlighted posts and photos as well.
Have a wonderful Tuesday!
Btw, are you the same Pam who said she'd never be a poet?
Congratulations on being spotlighted!
Actually, I wrote this first, but when I read it, it didn't convey my gratitude. Thanks to your influence, I decided to write the poem instead.
I'm glad you decided to write a poem...now you know you can do it.
Congratulations on the feature in the Triple Name Club!
Are you Shirley Temple?
Well said, Pam.
And, your army is still slinking around, so not until your wife gets you out from hiding under that bed.
Yeah, yeah, yeah - you're dragging me in. Gull durnit.
