Jo Jo is very disturbed by the strange concept of “racism†and “bigotry†that is now held by “liberalsâ€.
If you don’t support a black president…you are a racist…
If you point out flaws in Affirmative Action…you are a racist…
If you demand that the US borders be protected and immigration laws enforced…you are a racist…
If you refuse to give deference and kow tow to the most extreme racism and bigotry spouted by the minority and "liberal" race baiters…you are a racist…
If you object to being called a "racist" or a bigot" if you happen to disagree with a "liberal" about a subject conceerning race...you are a racist...
And, contrarywise…
“Liberals spew out the most incredibly bigoted and racist pejoratives about “southern whites†and “southern republicans†and “teabaggers†imaginable without a clue as to how racist and bigoted they are…
Let’s look at the definitions…
Bigotry is the state of mind of a "bigot," a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one who exhibits intolerance and animosity toward members of a group.[1] Bigotry may be directed towards those of a differing sex or sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, region, language, religious or spiritual belief, political alignment, age, economic status or medical disability. Bigotry is sometimes developed into an ideology or world view.
Racism is the belief that inherent different traits in human racial groups justify discrimination. In the modern English language, the term "racism" is used predominantly as a pejorative epithet. It is applied especially to the practice or advocacy of racial discrimination of a pernicious nature (i.e., which harms particular groups of people), and which is often justified by recourse to racial stereotyping or pseudo-science. Racism is popularly associated with various activities that are illegal or commonly considered harmful, such as extremism, hatred, xenophobia, (malignant or forced) exploitation, separatism, racial supremacy, mass murder (for the purpose of genocide), genocide denial, vigilantism (hate crimes, terrorism), etc.
Â
Â
See…These concepts do not distinguish between “liberal†and “conservative†racism and bigotry.
And, there is no provision for “retaliatory†racism and bigotry.
Or, justified “minority†bigotry and racism…
Nope…Racism and bigotry are an equal opportunity offense.
Next time ANYONE makes a racist or bigoted statement…call ‘em down…
Until this schitte stops going in both directions, it won’t be over…
Heed Jo Jo...he is seldom wrong and never in doubt...

I have tried reminding these people of what their favourite words actually mean ... and been told posting correct definitions is something only conservatives do.
When I replied that changing the meaning of words to suit one's mood is somethong only solipsists and egotheists do I did not get a positive reaction.
Good thing I only stay in this site to amuse myself. Being made the object of an Orawellian Two Minutes Hate session could traumatise a more sensitive person.
Turn the tables on the Republicans because the libs think they are the elite and no one has enough common sense to research them or call them out on what they are trying to feed the public... If anyone is a racist, it would be the libs/Dems...
Just like those classical liberals Stalin and Mao.
That was important because the liberals objected to being called "liberals" and the "liberals" didn't know the difference.
Because you use the "liberal" term, you might consider putting up your own definition of the two.
TRUE LIBERAL...liberal minded, logical, intelligent, believes in individual rights, appreciates the US Constitution...understands the power and legitimacy of "enlightened self interest"...you know...Thomas Jefferson...and Jo Jo...
Thanks for sharing with The Triple Name Club.
Jo jo should go back to rolling over and playing breitbart.
I know you have to make things simple so that your constituency can try to understand it, but the truth is never as simple as you would have it appear to be.
So let me just give you one example of where you're wrong.
"If you don’t support a black president…you are a racist…"
Now that's what the ever willing to be victimized, sorry excuses for humanity that used to be Republicans, have been led to believe.
But let me break it down for you the way it is in the real world:
"If you don’t support a black president…you are a racist…"
No, it's if you don't support a president because of his policies, even though they reveal him to be pretty much like his predecessor (except smarter, funnier and a better singer), no problem. I don't agree with all of his policies, he's not nearly progressive enough for me.
If you don't like the black president because he's black, you're a racist.
Capische? See, it's the inclusion of black where it really isn't needed that calls into question what is supposed to be your thought process.
Now you can go back to your regularly scheduled game of fetch.
Let me break it down again for you. The people and dogs of your ilk like to play the V card. YOu love to play the victim, you lap it up.
"If you demand that the US borders be protected and immigration laws enforced…you are a racist…"
No, the argument is actually if you want the borders protected because you don't like brown hispanics, you're a racist.
Otherwise, I believe that immigration reform is first and foremost an national security issue, and secondly an economic issue. And therefore should be given the utmost priority. And who are the people consistently blocking any path to, well, anything? The people playing the V card. Because they can't get their narrow little minds around the word "comprehnsive", because some drug addled idiot told them that "comprehensive" means "amnesty".
Try again.
You're following me around again.
All that being said...Jo Jo likes Mexicans. I live in Texas and the Mexican culture is one of the many things I like about it...And...If you want something done, hire a Mexican...And, after they learn some English and get an education, they start a chain of Tex-Mex joints and make damn fine republicans...They are family oriented and make good, law abiding citizens and activists...I seldom drink anything but Lone Star and Corona...And, truth to tell, I don't have a problem with the wet-backs that come here looking for work and a better life. I worked in the fields with them as a kid. It is the coyotes and drug cartels that are dangerous...they need to be kept out...And, I blame YOUR PTRSIDENT for not enforcing existing laws (thereby justifying the states to make and enforce there own) or leading the charge to fix the laws to accomplish all above...
I hablo un poco , study my Rosetta Ston every day and am thinking of moving to the mountains of Saltillo in my old age and finding an 18 year old Mexican bride...I read Old Man and the Sea 7 times...Also, Blood in the Sand...Watched "Thunder Over Mexico"...Can sing "Poncho and Lefty" and play the guitar licks, too...
See, you make to many stereo type judgments based on general statements...
Seriously?
Also nope.
There is nobody on this site who is as deluded as you are.
Ian... nevermind.
Jo Jo will go flat against the grain you thought you saw. Jo Jo has supported the occasional liberal approaches to some problems, and always catches me by surprise when he does. I will do the same at times, so it doesn't worry me a lot. I'm not looking for consistency, from him or anyone else.
Mostly though, to my mind, Jo Jo likes to nit pick the hanging threads of arguments, requiring that you define your argument out of existence thread by pulled thread before he'll go harass someone else.
Chuck...It isn't complicated...retrace and review...
The entire problem was built on race and racism, an no one could think of a way to hammer it down but to reverse it. Not only make those practices illegal, but demand that folks denied positions and promotions begin to get them. Against a background of derisive laughter, a benighted campaign to "hire the most qualified" was started and soon aborted. After all, that had never been part of the original issue (except as it applied between whites), and anyone espousing it now was laughed off the stage. If they weren't qualified, it was up to companies to qualify them.
If you think that no longer applies... the company I work for has a collection of nooses, photos of lynchings and other 'memorabilia' taken from black employees work stations over the past few years. Sorry guys... if you're white and think you've been effectively discriminated against "all your adult life" (did I get that right?), tell me what you would have accomplished if some 'unqualified' black guy hadn't been moved ahead of you.
I never had any one "promoted ahead of me" because I have never been employed...
By your logic, AA will never end...It will be a continuous reparation for slavery...As long as it exists, back lash racism will abound...
And, it does not benefit the ghetto kids...just the black middle class and black foreign students and workers ... the ghetto kids stay just as ignorant and unemployable as they were 50 years ago...
Just like all Gov't created "justice", the reward goes to those whe were not hurt and the penalty is paid by those who were not guilty...
BTW, I didn't argue that AA was racist and it is not because it is "carved out" of the definition. It is, however, according to the UN definition, "Racial Discrimination"...
I merely argue that being against AA is not racism...
Having never owned any slaves or participated in any instutional racism, I feel no guilt for the racism in this country and resent being required to be the selected whipping boy...
If you think that no longer applies... the company I work for has a collection of nooses, photos of lynchings and other 'memorabilia' taken from black employees work stations over the past few years. Sorry guys...
Just because you work with a bunch of racist yahoos...what does that have to do with me???
How, exactly could you "suffer from discrimination" if, as you say, you were never in a position to be discriminated against? And where do you get off telling people who still get nooses hung over their desks that it's time to get over it. "It" ain't over for them.
Oh, and the Harvard kids you mentioned? Yep that happened. But what happened more often, until the AA law was passed, along with other Equal Opportunity in Education and Housing regulations, was the scions of the Bushes of this world with "family grant" grades of 4.0 from family funded private schools getting into Harvard, Yale and wherever else ahead of black (and poor white) kids because they weren't the "right kind" of people.
Will AA ever be over? I don't know, but I do know that white bigotry is still endemic in our society. I do know that without AA, we begin again to relegate minorities to fewer and fewer opportunities, because without those programs minorities from lesser high schools have a much smaller chance at admission to colleges and universities. Michigan has proven that.
My thinking isn't fuzzy, Jo Jo. If it were, I'd expect you to begin to see where YOUR thinking goes awry... and I don't expect any such thing.
Oh, and don't get me started on the little BAPS that have sopped up all the AA they could get all of their lives (times 2, being women) and are now still whining about "discrimination"...I call Bull Shit...And, I tell them to get over it at every opportunity...they need to see through the race baiting propaganda from the perpetual agitators like Sharpton, Rev. Wright and Jesse Jackson...
Fussy liberalism that insists that every act that isn't (according to them) PC is horrible racism and the "perpetrator" is a degenerate and unredeemable racist is not helpful...As Carl Sagan said...we are all rscist. Ethnocentrism is in our DNA. It is how we handle it that counts...And, dialogues like these are more helpful then a bunch of demonstrations organized by the Sharptons of the world who make their living and their claim to fame as race baiters are, or should be, out of fashion...
