Diane Kruger Snagged by Fashion Police for Her Jason Wu Cape Dress

Diane Kruger was called out by the Fashion Police on Friday for a major sartorial statement she made during the grand opening of the St. Regis Bal Harbor Resort in Miami last week.

For the event, she donned a gold embroidered black Jason Wu cape ensemble while enjoying the festivities with the designer himself instead of boyfriend, Joshua Jackson. In doing so, she caught the eye of the E! Entertainment show team as the four arbiters critiqued this bold look that included a red clutch and strappy sandals that were at least five inches high.

Judge Kelly Osbourne was especially enthusiastic about what Diane Kruger wore, saying, "I absolutely adore this. You have to be so petite to wear [this Jason Wu outfit] or you will look like a drunk matador."

A lot of laughs were the reaction to that last remark by Ms. O, whereupon Giuliana Rancic agreed, saying that Diane Kruger brought on "a killer look" and then she called out how much she admired the punches of color from the actresses red lips and red bag.

After much discussion and at the end of the evening on Fashion Police, Diane Kruger was called "best dressed" by both Rancic and Osbourne, whereupon Joan Rivers called the same person "worst dressed"—but probably only to get in a joke about how it is unfair that this personality can go out without wearing pants (because of her very short Jason Wu skirt) but when Joan does that her daughter Melissa calls the police. Or something like that.
