Hilary Duff's new baby, Luca Cruz Comrie, is making his mom more than just a little cautious. Hilary, who gave birth to little Luca on Tuesday, isn't taking any chances with her beautiful newborn. That includes making sure that Charlie Sheen doesn't babysit!
Hilary tells OK Magazine that she's probably not alone in feeling an incredible, overwhelming protectiveness towards her baby boy. She joked that she wouldn't let her She Wants Me movie co-star, Charlie Sheen, babysit for Luca. All jokes aside, Hilary's definitely sounding like a super-involved new mom. She says she's found several of her childhood books in storage and can't wait to share special reading time with her child. She mentions several favorites, including If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (an adorable story that's perfect for little ones) and two Shel Silverstein books: The Giving Tree and Where the Sidewalk Ends. All are excellent choices. Baby Luca is a lucky boy!
In the meantime, hopefully Hilary Duff and hubby Mike Comrie are enjoying every single second they can with their first baby. And, of course, getting some sleep in-between feedings!
