The NCAA Tournament 2012 Elite Eight schedule arrives on Saturday 3/24 with two matchups set in place. These two games will determine two of the men's college basketball teams that will move on to the Final Four in New Orleans next weekend.
Saturday's live NCAA basketball games begin at 4:30PM EST with a matchup in the West Region. Competing for the first spot in the Final Four will be #4 seed Louisville coached by Rick Pitino against #7 seed Florida coached by Billy Donovan. These two are masters at their craft and should provide quite a matchup on the court. Will it be Pitino's Cardinals, or Donovan's Gators heading to New Orleans next weekend?
The second game on Saturday's schedule will take place at 7:05PM EST and pits the two top seeds of the East region against one another. It'll be the #1 Syracuse Orange with their toughest battle so far, as they take on #2 seed Ohio State. Syracuse managed to get by #4 Wisconsin 64-63, but will they find another way to win against another tough Big 10 opponent? Ironically, OSU advanced from the Sweet Sixteen with a convincing victory over Cincinnati. That same Big East team defeated Syracuse in the Big East Tournament. Does this make Ohio State the predicted winner for this particular game, or will coach Jim Boeheim guide the Orange back to the Final Four?
Both of the above games are scheduled to be televised on CBS, with two more games to follow on Sunday. In addition to TV coverage, these games will also be shown live streaming online through the NCAA's March Madness apps for computers and mobile devices.
