That is eight years of the previous president. Let us see..Unemployment is down, The American Car Companies are back on top because of the Obama "bail out". The Banks are still screwing people even though Obama tried to stop them. That of course is because they all have CEO's and VP that make anywhere from $250,000 a year to as much as millions plus stock options for the top guy, (Usually a WASP) While the average Teller starts with a salary of between 18k and 20K per year. The Dow is over 13000 points. Higher than it was in 2008....who was president then? Katrina was a disaster where many people were just left to die and that very same Pres appointed a total idiot to run an organization as important as FEMA, Just because they were friends. Than he said "I have total Faith in Brownie"... How long did he last after that before he was fired or forced to resign? We were put into two wars by that same president. One is a 10 year quamire that has cost us billions of dollars and we really have no "clean" way out. Yet Obama's people found Bin Laden and killed him. While on 9-11-01 GWB was entertaining other members of the Bin Laden Family and let them fly away even though we were under "no fly" orders for everything but military planes. The Taliban and Al Quaeda are offshots of a failed war against that dread Communism (sociallism). Both the Taliban and Al Quaeda were given arms by another Republican President to help fight the socialism - communist scourge. How did that work out for us? We have lost 1000's of brave soliders, cost many more permanent damage of both physical and emotional levels. We basically blew up a whole soverign nation over WMD's that did not exist. Killing 100,000's of Thousands of innocent people and now it is costing us billions to rebuild also. I could go on and on but I have to run to the store before they close at 6 PM. I await your intelligent answer on what Socialism is to You and how we are heading there. Or then again we could also elect Flip Flop Mitt! The LEAST interestin Man in the World. You've got to be kidding. Gas prices are way up, in fact all prices are way up. Unemployment is not down. The real unemployment is close to what it was during the depression. We had our AAA rating changed for the first time in history under Obama. We're borrowing so much money from China that they practically own us. And you still defend him? You seem to have some personal issues with a former POTUS, Bob. I think you need to work on them. I mean, sure, President Bush had to “destroy the free market in order to save it” (or were you fine with that?). At least the Senate passed a budget every year, unlike in the age of Obama where no budget has ever been passed by the Senate.

What is Socialism? Well it is a good question, but I will address it last. Why doesn’t Obama love this country? Now that is a loaded question, if ever there was one. Obama is many things, but at his core, he is a progressive utopian. Like socialism, that is a term that is loaded with meaning. In essence he believes in the ability of the bureaucratic state to promote progress and advance the overall well being of the people. It is a fallacy, of course, but clearly our federal government was built to oppose the utopist state in every possible way. Our founding fathers preferred Loche over Plato.
So what is socialism? Simply put socialism is the attempt to “spread the wealth” by diverting wealth from the wealthy through “the socialists” and to “the people,” attaching massive conditions to whatever wealth managed to trickle down past “the socialists.” The conditions never apply to “the socialists” but only to “the people,” thus creating a de facto political elite. That is socialism.
No, America voted for a president that does not exist. They voted to receive promises that no president in a free country could pay off. Thus America voted for a liar. Fool us once, shame on us....... Twice, we will see.
Personally, I blame the media for not vetting Obama in 2008. I am not sure it would have worked even then but at least the choice between a completely unknown candidate and a well known candidate would have been clear and the people would have been better prepared to vote for Clinton in the primaries. The fact that he cannot negotiate anything and that he has been responsible for most of the non-compromises in the past three years might not have been obvious in 2008 given his absolute lack of any substantial record in this area, but at least the lack of a record would have been better understood.

When Bush was in office, the high gas prices were all his fault, but with this president its not his fault... but he wants green jobs that doesnt create jobs... What good is it if you are lucky enough to have a job, if you have to pay more out in gas prices to get there... SOmeone please do the math, before giving credit to this president. What jobs ? Remember, Obama ( took the credit for the killing of Osama, without giving credit to Bushs plan that was still in place) isnt this why, we were in Afghanistan to begin with? Lets point out that under his watch.. we have the Fast and the Furious.. we have the burning of the Koran which incited these people... We have a soldier that didnt want to be in Afghanistan and went off on a murdering spree... Now, I know that you are going to say, what did Obama have to do with this...? Ummm... what did Bush have to do with many of the things he was accused of? Fair is fair....and you would think that The Fast and Furious Obama would of been updated on... Afterall, he is the president.. We have a president who bailed out Solyandra who went bankrupt. THen he bailed Volt from GM... another failure... Great comeback Vickey, I have been dealing with liberal pin-heads for a long time, there is nothing we could say that will ever make them see the light. Just to add, when Obama took office the unemployment rate was 7.8% now 8.3%. When he pasted his stimulus he swore the rate would never go over 8%, but it went over 10%. Bush also opened-up federal land for drilling, and the price went down to $1.83. When Obama got in he closed federal land for drilling $4.00 now. He says more drilling won't help, yet he begs the Saudis to drill more. There is so much more, so much more.
