When Cherlize Theron showed up in a fashion forward black gown for the Human Rights Campaign Gala at the Ritz Carlton/JW Marriott at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles, nobody could have guessed that this new mom was sporting a fairly thrifty sartorial statement.
In fact, what the Evil Queen from the upcoming film Snow White and the Huntsman donned for this important event was not only relatively inexpensive (at $400 from Saks Fifth Avenue) but the garment came from a great designer: Acne Barika.
That said, check out the frock hanging on this hardworking thespian here and notice how the razor back gown was simple yet edgy, with one panel done in sheer fabric so that Charlize Theron didn't need to take the so-called Angelina Jolie leg-forward lunge pose (noticed big time during the Oscars) in order to call attention to her knockout pins.
As for her accessories, well, they were pretty much non-existent while the blonde actress wore her hair in a high ponytail which is right on trend this season.
So how do you think that Charlize Theron, now a new mother, looked in her thrifty fashion statement in Los Angeles to support human rights? On point or pretty lame? Surely, the answer can not be the latter.
