Fans were devastated when they heard the news that MTV was ending the original Teen Mom series. There have been rumors revolving around a possible spin-off. So far, Farrah Abraham is rumored to be "in-talks" with producers, while Maci Bookout retweeted a fan's message saying Maci is deserving of her own show.
So, what do fans overall think?
According to Wetpaint, not too many are thrilled with the idea of a Farrah spin-off, with only 9% of votes going to her. The only girl to receive less votes was troubled Amber Portwood with 3%. That leaves just Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout, but the vote wasn't even close. Nearly 73% of fans would like to Maci return to their televisions, while the other 14% opted for Catelynn.
Is this really any surprise, though? Maci Bookout has arguably, always been one of the favorites on Teen Mom. Fans love her southern charm and the fact that she seems to have a good head on her shoulders.
It's surprising that fans chose Catelynn over Farrah, though. Even though they gave their daughter up for adoption, Catelynn and Tyler have maintained a steady fan base who have been inspired by their story. They continue to work with their adoption agency, doing commercials and helping other young teens thinking about adoption.
Keep in mind, Amber Portwood has been in some trouble lately and it isn't even clear if she is allowed to film. It may not be that fans aren't as interested in her, but know that this Teen Mom needs some time away from the cameras.
Farrah Abraham appeared to be the only girl "in-talks," but will MTV reconsider their choice for a spin-off after seeing poll results such as these? Who would you like to see get their own show?
