Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been teetering on the edge of matrimony for years, but this time they might really take the plunge. Their wedding plans are crystallizing fast. Angie's dad Jon Voight, her brother, Brad's brother, and their 6 kids will all take part in the nuptials. In fact, La Jolie's brother will actually perform the ceremony. Yikes.
Yes, after 7 long and meticulously media-scrutinized years, Brangelina is reportedly finally going to tie the knot at their home in France later this year. Angie's brother, James Haven, who is an ordained minister, will actually marry his sister to her baby daddy. The couple's 6 children will also be "heavily involved" in the ceremony as will La Jolie's once estranged father, Academy Award winning actor, Jon Voight. Although neither Brad nor Angie is particularly religious, the wedding will take place in the chapel on their property because it's "just so perfect."
"Angie originally planned to have her brother James [Haven] walk her down the aisle," reveals an inside source, "but she's now decided to let her dad, Jon Voight, have that honour since she knows how much it would mean for him and the kids. The plan is to have Maddox and Pax stand in as Brad's groomsmen and Zahara and Shiloh will be bridesmaids. Little Viv will be a flower girl and Knox the ring bearer. Brad's brother Doug will be their witness."
Yikes. Talk about a family affair.
Well, with all that detailed preparation, it sounds like the Brangelina wedding might actually happen this time. The question is: Why now?
Perhaps Brad and Angie feel it's safe to get married now that they've been together for 7 years. After all, if the dreaded 7-year-itch was going to affect them, they'd have already split up. Or perhaps, as they've stated many times, they just want to please the kids. Of course, there might be another reason for the rush. Could it be that Angelina Jolie wants to marry Brad Pitt before Jennifer Aniston can drag--er--get Justin Theroux to the altar? People get married for all sorts of reasons. And La Aniston has reportedly given her man an ultimatum to marry by the end of the year. Just saying.
Stay tuned.
