The mother of missing baby Ayla Reynolds is making more shocking revelations regarding the child's father, Justin DiPietro. It seems that among some of her more recent statements, she's expressed that there were always "concerns" about her little girl being abused. Trista is apparently being quite vocal lately, and meanwhile Justin, his mother, his sister and his girlfriend have all clammed up, refusing to speak to the media. This isn't looking good at all!
Trista Reynolds claims that abuse had always been a concern regarding Ayla Reynolds being put in the care of Justin DiPietro and his family. In fact, she had not only taken her to the doctor regarding injuries in the past but she'd made more than one call to DHHS with concerns for her daughter's safety.
She took the child to the doctor over a presumed leg injury after a visit with her father in September of 2011. In the document released by Trista, it states that the child "did not want to walk" after returning from a visit with Justin DiPietro. The document noted that there was bruising on the child's iliac crest, which is located in the crest of the pelvic region. As this guide indicates, the iliac crest is a region where bruising is not often accidental. In other words, bruising in the iliac crest on a child is a visual red flag for abuse. Trista Reynolds reported her concerns and the doctor did so as well. Why did these reports result in no action?
