The car belonging to Maria Murphy has been found but the 45-year-old Coral Springs woman is still nowhere to be found with little evidence available leading to her whereabouts. The black BMW convertible belonging to the missing woman was discovered in a shopping center parking lot in Margate behind 7932 Sample Road. This is approximately six miles away from where she was last seen at an ATM where she made a transaction on Friday afternoon.
Detectives are scouring surveillance of the shopping center in which her BMW was found, in hopes of finding imagery of whoever had been driving the missing woman's car. It's apparent that investigators are on the right track in the disappearance of Maria Murphy, but with it going on the fifth day of her disappearance the statistics are stacked against her. The first 48 to 72 hours are the most vital in any missing persons case, and this one is already starting to turn out similarly to other cases in Florida--such as the Michelle Parker disappearance.
Michelle Parker vanished from Orlando in 2011 and her missing vehicle was later found but the clues eventually ended there as far as definitive leads were going. Michelle still hasn't been found. Hopefully the case of Maria Claudia Murphy doesn't turn out like the case of Michelle Parker.
