How I Met Your Mother season 7 continues with episode 20, "Now We're Even," on April 16. It's going to be a long break without new episodes, especially since there are now even more questions about the gang's future.
HIMYM Season 7 Episode 20 "Now We're Even" Official Description
"Just as Ted starts to settle into his new apartment alone, Barney tries to entice him into going out every single night. Meanwhile, Lily has a naughty dream about someone other than Marshall, and Robin finally becomes a famous news anchor."
The title itself is familiar, as that's what Ted said when he was wearing that green dress (a story that has yet to be told). Will that be explained in this episode? It certainly seems to be pointing that way and it would be surprising if they didn't address it with that title.
Meanwhile, Ted and Robin are apparently not going to see each other for a long time, a fact Future Ted revealed after Robin told him about her promotion, which led to her being able to afford a new place that wasn't Quinn's old apartment. It's no surprise that Barney's going to be on his case about going out—this is Barney, after all—but at this point all you want to know is who ends up being Ted's wife and who ends up marrying Barney.
Robin may be having a tough year, between her break-up, finding out she can't have children (even though she doesn't want them), and the recent drama with Ted, so it was impossible not to be happy to hear that she was promoted and is advancing in her career. She needs the break, and it sounds like in this episode, fans will get to see just that. There's the added bonus that at the same time, it means a return from Alexis Denisof as Sandy Rivers, since Robin became his co-host. Something ridiculous seems to happen whenever Sandy shows up, so you have to wonder what that will be this time.
