Slithery slimy thoughts betrayed

“Eat the apple”

Slitherly slimily slaying

The peace of obedience.

They ate their piece

And slithery slimy snakes

Slunk into Eden.

 

Okay, I'm not sure this follows the prompt--historical fiction? St. Patrick? Well, at least it's got snakes.

Slipping by to say - am not a snake..but that was good :-) could have been a worm or eel..even a centerpede that just took a while to get the boots on :-)
