did I get over night or this morning. Well I think this is the beginning of the end for me and Gather.
I contacted Gather support before I got off yesterday about my problem but I have yet to hear back from them. I will give them the week before I contact them again if the problem hasn't been fixed.
I have never used any other method to keep track of my friends post and pics and what not so I don't know what to do now that I am not getting my notifications. My home page feed isn't showing me much I will try my best with things there this week. But it doesn't seem to be showing me much in that regard.
Just thought I would let you all know what is up. I have plenty of notification from before this problem started yesterday.

I had the exact same problem with Hotmail and gather before. Kevin "site wizard" helped me through it by setting up a Gmail account and having it forward all my mail to my Hotmail account.
Apparently Hotmail sometimes blacklists gather because of the massive amounts of emails they send out. Thinking gather is spamming everyone.
I guess Gmail has fewer issues like this. Because it hasnt happened to me since i changed over.

Are you the owner of the group or are you just a moderator?
Melanie must be member of several groups and she does not receive notifications. I noticed that a lot of other group members are not getting email notifications.
I thought that I am not receiving them because I must be a member with less privileges not being part of any group.
However, it seems that no one has problems with email notifications, at least no other person denied the problem, being an owner or a moderator.
Just thinking, no conclusion suggested...

Your response from Gather will come in your regular email not your gather email. Also they are closed on weekends so they would not have received your email until today.
HOpe you get it all worked out.
I have had to go back into my Gather settings & check them every once in a while too - since they glitch sometimes or I change my mind on certain ones. In the 'My Friends' setting is where I opt to have emails come back to me. Have you checked there that everything is still the way you want it?
This is why I'm rarely on here these days anymore......thank goodness, I've got so much going on in "real life" that it doesn't bother me anymore........
At the most, I'm on here about an hour a day....that's it.
Anyhow, I do hope you have better luck than I've had and things will get straightened out for you soon!
